From tech tradeshows to fashion runways, Emmy Kasten has been a respected marketing and PR expert for 20 years in Los Angeles and New York City. Early in her career, Kasten launched Red Bull Energy Drink in North America. As the head of Red Bull Communications, she established the beverage as a top lifestyle brand by leading all public relations, internal communications, Internet strategy and television distribution. Afterwards, Kasten spent more than seven years as the editor-in-chief for several luxury lifestyle publications, while she simultaneously raised more than $100K for charity through her own international fashion event called Little Black Dress. She then relocated to New York City, where she headed public relations globally for one of the world’s most successful entertainment companies, Rockstar Games. While there, Kasten broke industry records, launching the first video game to be honored at the Tribeca Film Festival (LA Noire) and the first entertainment property to gross $1 billion three days after its release (Grand Theft Auto V). She joined Visit Tri-Valley as the VP of Marketing in 2014.
